TCMAS : FAQ
What is TCMAS (Twin Cities Marine Aquarium Society)?
We are a group of saltwater aquarium enthusiasts based in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
What does TCMAS do?
We have bi-monthly meetings located in members homes and public establishments, along with occasional special activities such as frag. swaps, poker tournaments and a yearly speaker event. We also converse daily through our club message board at http://thereeftank.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58
How do I join?
To join you must attend any of our club meetings. Then at that meeting, you will be required to provide name, e-mail and phone number, along with your screen name on the reef tank.
Does it cost anything?
No, there are no club dues or other costs associated with the club.
How do I obtain access to the “TCMAS MEMBERS ONLY SECTION” on the reef tank?
After you have attended a meeting and provided the information mentioned above you will be put on the club roster and sent an e-mail of the upcoming meetings/events. Attendance is taken at every meeting and all members are required to sign in and wear a name tag with real name, and TRT screen name. Those who have not attended a meeting for six months or more will be taken off the list until you once again attend. Those members who have hosted and/or planned and organized a club meeting will have membership for life (if so desired).
How do I find out about the meeting if its my first one?
Send an e-mail to coordinator@tcmas.org and we will send you directions to the next event.
