TCMAS : FAQ

We are a group of saltwater aquarium enthusiasts based in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
What does TCMAS do?
We have bi-monthly meetings located in members homes and public establishments, along with occasional special activities such as frag. swaps, poker tournaments and a yearly speaker event. We also converse daily through our club message board.
How do I join?
To join you must attend any of our club meetings. Then at that meeting, you will be required to provide name, e-mail and phone number, along with your screen name on the TCMAS forum.
Does it cost anything?
No, there are no club dues or other costs associated with the club.
I find TCMAS to be a very valuable resource. Obviously it costs money to provide the services and events. I would like to contribute. Where can I send a donation?
Checks or cash are accepted, and you can send money to our paypal account. Please contact our treasurer David Grigor for details.
I found TCMAS on TheReefTank.com. Is that forum still in use by the club?
No, though there are occasional posts there, we do not maintain any regular club activity there. All online club related activity occurrs here, at http://www.tcmas.org
How do I obtain access to the “TCMAS MEMBERS ONLY SECTION”?
After you have attended a meeting and provided the information mentioned above you will be put on the club roster and have access. Attendance is taken at every meeting and all members are required to sign in and wear a name tag with real name, and TCMAS.org screen name. Those who have not attended a meeting for six months or more will be taken off the list until you once again attend. Those members who have hosted and/or planned and organized a club meeting will have also have access to this area. Look for opportunities to step up and contribute to TCMAS to gain access to these areas.
