My rep at Quality Marine just sent me this picture. It's really bad, but this is a Show Size Blastomussa Wellsi. If anyone is interested please pm me. Picture taken without lights, it's red/orange with green centers.

Are you sure that's not a merletti? It looks to have more the "stalk" type skeleton. Wellsi's should have a continuous base. Splitting hairs a bit as that is a fantastic looking coral. I prefer merletti's to welsi's all day long. They are much more hardy.

Mike, I will double check with them again. I was told it was wellsi, but original impression was that it was merletti. The picture was taken on my reps camera phone.

I see it on my live list classified as wellsi, there is also a merletti. but its the common pink and green.
