So I bought Jerry JnS and Jeremy thepollock old 4x4' Tank which was built by Scott spazz.
It is 4x4x13, so approximately 120 gallons. It has an overflow in the back left corner which holes for several drains and returns.
It is currently being light by a 250w 20k Lumenarc with Lumenarc Stealth Pendant. I'm debating if I should just run 1 light over it, or add a second. It is connected to an AquaController 3 and will monitor temp, ph and will eventually be connected to water on the floor sensors. I also have some stand work to do. The bottom stand covers will be pull away, so I can access the sump.
I also have an extra 2x2' tank, so I'm thinking about creating either a dedicated anemone or sps/clam system. What are your thoughts?

That thing is HUGE!!! Do you have space to move around in there? Can't wait to come by and see it.

Very cool. If you need/want any help with it, let me know. I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Nice tank. You can see the spazz quality and attention to detail. Should make an excellent tank. What are you planning on dispaying in it? 250 watt should be find for most things. It sure looks nice and clean with the single light centered in the middle. Looks like the light is at the same height as the tank you have behind it. I like the look. I have to come up there someday and see your tanks and livestock.

Here is an updated shot. I just finished the plumbing, so far no leaks :) Monday I will be filling this aquarium with corals! I'm excited.

If you feel its not enough light you could do a 400. Do they make a larger hood in the same shape?
Looks awesome, man!

Yea, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do for lighting. I'm convinced that I need to swap bulbs as these lumenarc 20ks are aren't bright enough, but my idea of bright is extremely skewed after looking at MH all day. I'm also thinking about the XM20k. I also have another 250w lumenarc (see tank on the left) that I might use to light the tank.
I'm curious to see how the softies and such react to the light on the outer edges.
