View Full Version : How bad are air bubbles for coral

Just looked at the sump and it was low on water and was pumping bubbles into the display.

Now all my corals are slime factorys!


Is this bad or will they be fine?

they will be fine. They slime to protect themselves.

Yep they get just as many or more in the ocean when the waves are crashing hard over the reef.

what about the air pockets under my monti cap?

should i try to get them out?

Yeah really long periods are not good. So if you can get them out. More flow in the tank will help dislodge them naturally.
