Will an eballast fire a radium 400W Se bulb?

Yep. Quite nicely. This was my preferred combo back when the 320g was up and running.

hmm, thanks d! I have an extra 400W blueline ballast sitting around and I am debating putting it over the 37 gallon. Eery time I see my moms tank (my old 58) I miss the coloration I got from the 400W, only problem is that I would probably have to add a FEW fans to the tank to keep it cool

When I saw your tank I thought the coloration was great with the lights you had! Just goes to show how hard it is to be satisfied:wink: I know for me I am always fighting the temptation to tinker with my setup:biggrin:
