Here is a little video demo I put together when I was drilling my 150 gallon show tank. It is pretty informal, and was done with my nokia cell phone so please forgive the choppy quality.

For those that are brave enough to drill your own tanks it should be helpful. I'll be drilling my 58 gallon Oceanic soon, and will use some different methods to do so and will take another video of that.
it is very easy to do and everyone can do it as long as you have the right tools for the job.

That is exactly why I decided to post this, it is one of those things that everyone is scared to do at first, but then after seeing it done realizes that it really isn't all that hard.

Works great for me. Just one thing, your drilling and have no safty glasses :) Doesn't the Anti freeze go all over?

The antifreeze doesn't get too mess, but you did get me on the safety glasses, which I usually where when I am disguised as Clarke Kent :jester:

you could use the salt water from your tank for heat displacement instead of antifreeze/coolant better for the environment.

Not an option when the aquarium is laying on its side. And I use antifreeze because it is a better lubricant.
