I need a new or used pump that will push more flow than i got now from my basement. Figure 20 feet of head. thanks for the Help.

Sequence Marlin will give you about 1620gph at 220w.
Iwaki 100 will give you about 1500gph cant find a wattage chart but it is substantially more watts. Probably about 100.

oh yeah, and the panworld 250 and the biggest blueline pump are essentially the same pump as the iwaki listed. Why do you want more flow from your return?

to get the powerheads out of the tank and help with some of the algea problems.

flow is just one of the isses that i'm fighting plan to add ref and new sump will start kalk shortly too.

for the sake of argument, wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to purchase some attractive small power heads like a tunze nanos ? not to mention substantially more flow.

For me it's really hard to justify running a large pump for circulation especially since your having to pump that kind of distance. The wattage just to run one will be pretty substantial.
If you want more flow, I think there are better methods than upgrading the return pump itself.

i'm looking in to two nano's any suggestion 0ne or two in a 120 softie.
I have an Iwaki 100 for sale, but it needs special wiring. Let me know if you are interested.

also I have an Iwaki 70 for sale. No special wiring, just needs a plug installed. It's basically brand new.
