take the affected piece of rock out and carefully remove the bubbles trying not to pop them. Then swish the rock in some saltwater so as to rinse off any spores from one that may have popped, then you can put it back in the tank. Emerald crabs will eat small bubble algea, but not the big ones. Some rabbitfish have also been known to nibble as well.

I have just a few bubbles (so far as I can see), since I'll have all the rock out anyway, I plan to remove the bubble carefully, then torch the area it was on.

If any grows back in the time I have the temp tank set up, it gets it again on its way back to the display.

Once you tank has some, without killing the rock and starting from scratch, about the best you can do is try to keep it under control. Emeralds won't eliminate but may help if you don't already have a ton. Rabbits, sailfin, and naso seemed to be the best fish providing you have a large enough tank but they will only be able to get what they can reach. Nooks and crannies though will go unchecked. I will periodically take the rock out manually extract, rinse well in old saltwater. If too bad I will completely bleach, clean, and reseed a few rocks at a time.

I have a lot of little ones all over the place and the worst ones are on rocks that are buried so maybe I will have to get some emerald crabs. I had 2 but they must have died.

IME I have used emeralds to keep it in check. The only downfall that I noticed is when they get to large and seem to take there hunger to snails and other things. So I use them when they are small but when they get larger remove them from the system or banish them to the sump.

I've had better luck with rabbits such as the virigate or similiar markings rather than the foxface. But nothing in this hobby is absolute and your mileage will vary from fish to fish.

I've never found them to be a huge issue. The worst is when they start growing in zoa patches... but other than that they dont seem to bother anything and look kinda cool too.
Has anyone had trouble with them doing damage to corals or something?

I don't have a lot of it, it mainly grows in nooks and cranies out of the light. I have not noticed any negitive affects from it. However I should mention I have a large Emerald crab from Redwinger (thanks again) that seems to keep it in check.
