What happens when an AC jr. gets too close to a powerful magnet

I accidentally set my AC Jr. next to a powerhead holding magnet. Now it won't turn on. What can I do? I just do not have luck with AC jr's.

Is it under warranty?

If it doesn't start on its own there is probably a bad inductor in it or something and its pretty much toast unless you feel like trying to bust it open and repair it.

I think God intervened on my behalf. Ok, so here is what happend. I am setting up my new prop tank so I have peices from the old tank sitting around. I see the AC Jr. next to one of those powerhead magnets, and BAM! the AC Jr. turns off completely. So I'm like WTF! and then Why God, Why? and then I accept it and post about it. Couple mintues later I am messing with some stuff and look over, and low and behold my AC Jr. lighted screen is on and all programing is still in tact. So I believe this means God wants me to be a reefer. later
