finally got ut up and running.

closed loop on SCWD with mag 7 for flow
mag 2 for return
acrilic sump (24x15x12)
starboard bare bottom
150 watt double end MH

it's a small one, only about 2"
will be good till it get's bigger.

and what is soo wrong with a tang in a 37 gallon i'v seen people do worse things then that. :nuts:

hoping to add some sps from my display tank soon.

just got my MH ballest today with spider reflector
i put a Coralvue 175 watt 10k in there for now.

if you're rocking a 175w halide, you should check out the iwasaki 15k bulb next. GREAT color and tons of punch. more than a lot of 250s, and with about my ideal color out of any bulb.

edit: FWIW, I think you're fine with that tang for a while. just keep feeding it nori or the like.

yes i still have the 110 running, i just up graded from a 20 to a 37 gallon for the bedroom. i like the closed loop too. no more power heads.

the bulb i'm using is a old bulb, i just wanted to see what it looked like. i'll look into the iwaski bulb, you dont think that will be too much blue?

the tang is doing great, i kepp feeding nori to keep him happy too.
