no, so I can't talk! for some reason I do very well with acro's of any kind and monti caps, but i've always had marginal success with encrusting montis.Put me in line for a frag of yours :)

I epoxyed my LE efflo to in place.... turned my air intake on my skimmer down, 4hours later, everything fine...another four hours later at 3am, skimmer foaming like a mad dog, (despite practically turning off my skimmer) skimmed 7 gals of water. Osmolator replaced said 7 gals of supersaturated kalkwasser = pH 9.7 for 2 hours, milky tank for the next 4, brought down by some vinegar, 95% loss....

Yes, the $500 efflo :(. I had your sarmentosa in my other tank, so that's good :)

Lesson learned: put the freshwater make up system (Tunze Osmolator in my case) on the AC3 and turn it off after pH > 8.6..... dumb (extremely costly) mistake.

Stuckey, the superman you traded me for the pair of misbarred ocellaris is doing really well. He is encrusting and seems to like indirect light. Thanks, again.

I will post some pics later.

Matt, all I can say is ouch :(. LMK if there is anything we can do for ya. Once you are ready to add again I have a few LE pieces, one or two of which are even ready to frag :)

Thanks everyone. I know it's not the first tank to crash :) I didn't lose your rainbow monti derek was in my other system... I did lose some really sweet ones, LE Ponape acro, LE sky blue mille, LE Superman monti, LE Efflo, , Steve Elias blue stag, a few (like 10) bali aquacultured colonies, 2 squamosas, 2 croceas, and 2 maximas. Some other stuff that was pretty cool, a nice valida, a bushy A abrohosensis, some weird purple acro all from Jeffie, a red w/blue polyps seriatopora, Oregon tort, myagi tort, 5 anthias (my favorite fish), 2 tangs, 3 chromis. It was so bad that I even lost a small clump of xenia, a frickin' weed. Some things did make it though, my purple monster is doing fine, go figure, and a few other things... I've got a couple that are fighting to stay a live, the ORA German Blue polyped..

I just got a sweet order in of acros so my other system is bursting at the seams. Couldn't have come at a better time :( Thanks again for the offers...
