Can someone please explain this more clearly to me and perhaps give me a list of equipment that I will need to make one? I've been trying to read up on them, but it's just not making sense. I know that I am going to need one though because I am losing a lot of water to evaporation since I started running fans to control the heat of the tank. I'm guessing that I'm losing at least a gallon maybe 2-3 per day using the fans.

Also, I know others have been able to do this using random plumbing parts (Zryder). Do you think you could give me some more information on how to do this relatively cheap and reliable?

Thanks.

I always just had a float valve in my sump with a bucket of water next to it for the RO water (tube running from bucket to float valve to sump)

Less chance of a flood. Get one of these http://autotopoff.com/ , a 5 gallon pail w/ lid a pump like this http://www.mops.ca/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/skus/do/DOOS-1137.asp?E+scstore & a timmer and some ro/water hose. Works pretty good fill it up once every other day ? or use a big container if you are going to gone for a few days.
