Who got the Pokerstar monti from me please come in!

i cant remeber who got the pokerstar monti from me, but here's the problem i have. it have orange poylps and the poylps around it turning yellowish-green...the blue base colored up nicely, and around the new growth and at least 4 more spots doing the same thing.

you're getting that kind of color under 175's? how tall is your tank?

I doubt they are 175s. The pictures are likely under T-5s.
His tank is ~2' tall

LOL, it would not suprize me if he was at one point. Li, like most of us tweak our lighting much too soon and far too often to determine success or not. Fortunately that seems to be a habit less and less expressed by him :)

i dont use 175W on display tank.

I got a piece of pokerstar from you Li. Mine is doing the same, the new growth areas are red-orange and they change to a yellow-green and i think over time they will change to green. I think it is just like the rainbow monti, I always wondered if they were the same sp.?

i hope this is a pokerstar monti. when at least that's what i bought and it comes in with blue base neon green poylps. hopefully this is like the idaho grape case, it start with green poylps, after it settle in it turn purple again
