A new lfs just opened down here and the owner gave me this tank for only $14
This would be my first peninsula tank.
Don't know if I want to go reef or fowl  and ssb or bb
It's 60" x 12" x 12"
The glass is as thick as my 72" 125g tank.

i say bb,lots of flow and t5's
BB--you'll have a hell of a time getting any flow in that tank if you put any sand in it.

For lighting I plan to go MH for sure but haven't decided on how many bulbs and watts. I'm going to be building a canopy in a few weeks for this tank.

Is your bar overhang strong enough to support that full of water?

It's centered decently on the counter.
