SWE MEMBER - INDEPENDANCE DAY PARTY

Hi Members,

I am looking for a few people to help. Most of my family will be working the party. But we need a few more people to help with carnival games. I am also debating getting some one to cook dogs... Getting the food would be easy for me but the BBQ and a cook is out of my limited scope. If some one thought it would be fun and an easy project for them however... :)

I'm looking for commitments for
- lawn bowling game runner
- ring toss game runner
- Duck hunt or Fishing (kids games)
- cook?
- Prize and raffle ticket person

commitment would be 11:30-2

Please note: Saltwater Empire will be closed in observance of Independence day, July 4th. We will be partying in observance of Independence day July 5th (and open regular hours 11-5). Come join us!

July 5th, 12PM-2PM (Carnival raffles will be drawn at 2).

-Carnival games Test your skill at Jarts (Yah the safe kind), Ring toss, and more. Win Raffle tickets and carnival prizes. (Limited tickets will be handed out per membership. Children play duck hunt and fishing unlimited).
-Raffle Win Prizes Bio-cubes, skimmers, and more
-Food What WILL Sara bring this time?
-Reefers Talk with other reefers
-Sales You have seen our sales before... need I say more?

Just a week left, Get your ticket by Monday June 29th.
The winning ticket will be drawn at the July 5th party (aiming for 1:30PM). You do not need to be present to win. (Member's need to be present to win other party raffle items (including bio-cubes). Be sure to write your name and phone-number on your ticket.

We will draw runner-ups. The winner will have one week to pick up before we move on to the runner up.

Where do membership dollars go? Right here. Member parties are one of the important places membership dollars are spent. We believe its important to bring the family together for reefing.

Reefing... Appreciating our country... sounds like a good reason to host a party!

(looking at my haul of prizes) I'd say the ratio was good :) You had a good sized turn out.. However, I want my 20 bucks back I gave you to get me the cube in the drawing.. Since I didn't win and all ;)


I knew the kid that won it was gonna win the cube, he was by far the best jart player I ever saw.

I'll try to get back down there this week, we had our eye on some star fish and a flame angle but we where not sure what time we'd get home. We just got home now so I doubt anything would have made it in our hot car over the afternoon-evening.

LOL He thanks you! He saw that tank and wanted it for his room... went after it full force! Initially it was going to be a FW set up... but in the car on the way home he decided to join this group, learn, and set up a SW reef tank.... I've created a monster!!!! eek!
