I have a question about dipping these guys. would it be okay to drip acclimate them first, and once that is done, just drop some iodine and flat worm exit into the container, leave them in there for several more minutes, rinse them with more tank water, and then place them into the tank? or is a fresh water dip the more efficient way to go? i've never dipped my corals before, and i want to start dipping everything before they go into the tank.

im a little confused because ive seen various methods, and ive heard people state that a fw dip will stress them much more than a sw dip with iodine.

oh, and this is just for zoas/palys

Zoas are tough. Do whatever you want. I've done dips, freshwater dips, and rarely bother with acclimating them. I'm pretty sure Revive kills the red flatworms.
