Not that I can afford either right now, but I know I want a controller in the near future. Which one should I go with? They are about the same price and both seem to do the exact same thing.
Also, if someone has one for sale let me know

Having used both reefkeepers and aquacontrollers. I would always choose aquacontrollers.

Name recognition and I have never had a problem with the aquacontrollers. I did have a issue with the reefkeeper that they have since fixed. Plus the ability of the aquacontroller being able to be used with aquanotes is added piece of mind.

Aquacontrollers also have more programming options than the reefkeepers do. Reefkeepers are a little easier to program out of the box, but the aquacontrollers are much, much more versatile.

Aquacontroller gives you a bit more freedom like mary says. The RK2 you are restricted to the firmware prompts on what option to control your devices. For some complex control situations such as kalk stirrer or Kalk topoff that required dependancies on other devices ( ie: I want the Kalk to only run when the lights are out, and osc 1 minute on 5 minutes ) is not possible on the RK2.
Jr. can control up to 12 devices where the RK2 is limited to 8 is the main difference.
Data monitoring and software is much more mature technology on the AC unites.
and last but not least, Jr is about $30-40 cheaper.
In the end though, both have great customer service, and both will work great for most situations so not going to make a huge difference which one you choose.
