View Full Version : Hi
Hello, I'm sort of new to this forum and this hobby. I've had my tank for about 4 months now, i have 3 nemos, 3 soft corals, an emerald crab, some snails and 23lbs of lr w/ 23lbs of base. I will be moving shortly so I plan on upgrading, anybody know where I can trade in or recycle my tank when I get a bigger one? Anyway kind of noob to this hobby so I will have lots of questions. The lfs that I often go to are Wet World and Something Fishy. Here's a picture of the tank.

Welcome, you can use your old tank as sump for your new tank, or try to sell it.
What the....another cousin with a Salt water tank, NO WAY !!
Judging by your name, I'm assuming we share the same ethnic background.
I'm also in St. Paul, if you need any help, shoot me a PM.
Oh yeah, WELCOME, finally I'm not the only one :)

Hey, since you guys are on the topic. I have been looking for Yi Vang. 30-ish. Went to the U. Was my roommate in China in 1997. I think he still lives in the MPLS area. Would love to get in contact again; if you have any info, let me know.
Thanks,
Fritz

I know this is not how you intended it, but this sounds pretty funny. Like you think that "they" all know each other...lol.:rotflmao:

Like Darasy said, they do.
I don't recall going to one Chinese restaurant that Li didn't know everyone working there. Or one Thai place where my Thai friend knew everyone.
(Newly imported under the table workers excluded :gay1: )
That is true, my parents know pretty much any Hmong person that is over 45.
How they do it is this, ok, so your grandmother marry my cousin's grand father, and they have this son and this son have you and so on and on. It's pretty amazing how much everyone is related.
Sadly, the most people I know is 4, I'm a social retard.

all asian people know each other. its a sad fact.Hey, I've never seen you at Seafood Palace or Mi Le Hua or Mandarin Kitchen or Mai Village eating some Bun or Pho (you'll have to excuse my butchered spelling and lack of ` or ~ or ' over the words). I've never seen you at one of my extended family's functions either, and you didn't even make it to my wedding. Psshhh
(psst, my wife is Vietnamese) :beerchug:

Have you been to the remodle of MK? It looks very nice. Though the new koi pond really should have been a reef tank. The owner claims to have build all the acrylic holding tanks himself and to have had some reef tanks in the past.
