I got a fair sized rock of GSP from Hypertech a while back, and daily it would come out and soak up the light from my PC's. Now that I have 175 MH over my 75 gallon, it sometimes peeks out of it's hole, but tends to stay in the rock.
I have them placed about half way up the rock and in direct light.
I've got my params where they need to be, I just can't understand why corals people say grow like weeds (the GPS and Pulsating zinia) won't grow, or even come out of their hole.
