I thought I would start a post on the site here just to see if anyone can help me find a pair of flame wrasses. I've been saving these 2 fish as the last fish for my tank and so far I haven't been able to find any. I though it would be cool to document and snap pictures if I ever can locate these. Anyway any help is appreciated. If I can find these before the meeting I'm scheduled to host that would rock!

Id ask Smeese for the # of his Hawaii fish guy.
Could be your best bet.

get the local wholesalers to keep an eye out as well. Talk to Zeke, and maybe talk to a few people who tend to get their hands on hard to find fish like say Energy.

Here is a quick picture I took of one of the males from the 3 pairs that flew in yesterday from Hawaii. His one fin is a little rough but I expect it will grow in quickly.

I just got home from OD. You will be happy, I did not think they were very special until I saw them in person today. They look nice!

Well friday I went and picked up on of the 3 pairs of these wonderful fish. After a nice long acclimation period and lights being off so they could feel comfortable they seemed right at home. When i fed the tank they started eating right away(both flakes and frozen) and were just swimming around exploring the new enviroment.

Very nice looking fish and i recommend seeing them before they are all gone.

I believe Keith has them marked at $300 for a pair, though I could be wrong, I thought that was a very reasonable price after seeing what some of them go for online.

yep the price is/was $300.00 as i think that they are all possibly gone. They are very nice pairs. I think they are nice looking fish and fun to watch. And the pair i have are pigs and will eat anything i put in tank.....
