Ok so I am getting frustrated with my carx, because I dont know all that much about how to tune it. Last reading my dkh is at 13.6 and my calcium 400. I would like to get the dkh down, and the calcium up. How do I acheive that? ie, turn up the effluent, turn down the co2?

Well you dial down either the Co2 count of the efflieut to get the alk down.
But to get one down and the other up. The simple answer is you can't.
You have to use an additive to move on value and not the other. Most common would be CA chloride in your case.
Once you get the ratios where you want them then the CA will maintain in the right proportions.

Yeah you will be surprised how much esv it will take to raise the levels. David is right on with the ca reactor to maintain only. If you try to adjust levels within the tank with the reactor you are in for a world of hurt and so are your corals. I used the esv until I noticed how much it took to raise levels on the 75 and then switched to the turbo ca and man what a difference.

Turbo Calcium or that driveway melt stuff people use are best IMO.
