So, the 92 should be coming down for the frag swap. and a fish or two maybe left over. I was cleaning out the closet and found a sump that barely fits in the stand so i figured.. Why not?

The Marineland cubes I think are fairly new. Plumbing it was easy. My only complaints are, the water level is just above the bottom of the trim. to much water movement at the top and you can see it, and the line lock needs 1 or 2 more pieces so you can direct flow better.

I can fix 1 with a few piece of line. I can't adjust the overflow water level though.

heater in the tank is just to help get it up to temp faster. I keep forgetting it does not take long to warm a small tank!

I've seen people take pieces of acrylic and superglue/weld-on them to the lower edge of the inside of the overflow teeth to raise the water level, otherwise maybe a slightly larger return pump may solve your water level issues. If it's really an issue for you. :)

nate, I have 3 choices. 92 tank is aggressive. 110 is reef. 92 tank/stand/sump sold, most going to someone at the frag swap.

Fish in 92, 2 of them have a pending, 2 remain.

Choice one, take 2 fish and give them to a LFS or find a board member to house them.
Choice two. Home them in the 25G for now
Choice three. hope remaining fish is well fed enough on feeders not to eat everything in the 110..

Choice two is easy, I can drain the tank down to 3-4 inches of water, pick it up and move it to the new house.

In the end this will likely be my only tank for a while.

and yes, I think my return pump might be a bit small for the job.

umm.. it was not a day. it was about 7 hours. at night ;) once settled in, I will likely get your 65 setup, or get a 4 foot 120, bet that goes up as quick to.

the 25 needed 8 dollars worth of PCV and 10 minutes of my time before the water hit the tank. It was a very simple build.

I put 20 Lbs of LR in it, and no sand. that way, I can pull the rock, leave the fish and move the tank. We are moving 1 mile away so it'll be a short trip.
