Hi Guys, I'm working on another project and just wanted to share with you the different types of Mounts I'm working on.

Sizes range from 5/8 in. to 2.25 in. diameter, the large ones would be great for Encrusting Monti's and the textured ones would blend in nicely with the background.

Most will have both smooth and textured surface. Depending on size I was think packing them in 15-20 packs and possibly a 50 pack. Again this is still in the works, so nothing is being sold yet. Just wanted to share and get your input on them.

Price is key. We stopped carrying textured plugs because of the extra cost. Now the textured and natural shape still sell despite the extra cost. Id kill the two circles and square textured and keep the rest.

So if price isn't much difference you think the textured one would be better? hmmm...kill the 2 circles? interesting

I personally like the irregular a lot better. Circles just look out of place IMO
I second the purple look!

i'm thinking if there is some sort of underwater paint? What do the companies use to paint fake rocks? I'm guess it is mixed in with the mold.

I like the odd shaped ones and would give them a try.

there is paint but the smooth surface would make for harder coral attachments.

i wonder if dying with kool aid would work. it has vitamin c in it
