a little over a month ago I had a piece of frogspawn tentical twist around in the waterflow so many times (like one of thoes animal balloons) it broke off then it was floating around the tank. Absolutely no hard skelitin or mouth just clear green inflated tissue. After a week or so it then got stuck on the corner of a rock and has now formed a mouth and is growing a base!

I did not know this could happen. Anyone else ever see this?

It's pretty common occurance but usually stays freefloating and never really stays in a place long enough to settle down.

Ya I see have seen them floating around many times before.
They usually go down the overflow or just go MIA.
Sometimes if they are big I pull them out so they won't land on another coral and sting it.
Maybe next time I see a big one multi tenticals I will try to tie it down or pin it.
