Seriously - what is the smallest size tank for these guys???
Man I want a shark tank... but I need a new house to be able to put up a 400 gallon tank. I wouldn't want to hold any 3 - 5 ft creature in a tank smaller than that, I like to let my fish swim as free as they can be.

That leopard shark is awesome! Killer price too! I wish I had a tank for it. When following a proper feeding regiment, you would be able to go a long time before you'd need a tank larger than 400 or 500 gallons. They reach maturity at around 3 feet which takes several years. It would be a long time before it reaches it full 5 feet. I believe they are regulated to prevent over harvesting and you hardly ever see them for sale. If I had the tank I'd call in my order right now. :beerchug:

Hello all who have commented and posted
please be respectful of any store's selling ventures we give our best care for our living creatures we sell. It behoves us to properly care for these living creatures until we sell them to larger systems. We have limited ability to have large aquariums for every fish- otherwise we would be Underwater World with a 30 million dollar a year budget! i have bought and sold many sharks here at Something Fishy and have very good customers whom ive sold them to. I have also taken in sharks from people into our 300+ gallon tank because they had them out grow their tank
I also have outlets for sharks if they dont do well here. Soo again Please be helpful and maintain proper respect for any and all stores in this industry.

I cleaned up this thread but left it open in case someone was actually interested in purchasing and had questions. A word to our membership if I may...
Our sponsors pay for their forum, and deserve our respect or at least for you to bite your tounge. Much like our selling forums, if you dont like it dont buy it. You can make a difference without being rude. Being that Mike here pays to support us, I think we all owe him an apology and I will be the first. Mike I am so sorry that this has happened and today I am ashamed of my fellow reefers and their/our behavior.

Mike, I commend you for your restraint and respectful reply. I have been in your store a few times and you and your employees have been nothing but kind and helpful. I am thankful for you and others like you that are dedicated to all things fishy, be it fresh or saltwater. Helping others succeed is quite evident in the time you are willing to spend with your customers. Thank you.

Mike, your shark tank is my favorite tank in the store. I'll probably look at it again this afternoon because I need a case of salt. I also really like your variety of non-reef safe fishes as well. You always seem to have a little bit of everything.
Dusty, I think some of the smaller sharks would get along with damsels as many of the smaller sharks are crustacian eaters, but you'd have to double check on the exact species you'd be interested in.

Good looking sharks Mike.
You said it!
I was in there today and was impressed. Very healthy looking individuals. The leopard shark is smaller than the bamboo and a killer deal for anyone with a large tank looking for more of an active swimmer that is a small species (for a shark). Makes me wish I had a larger tank very badly. Nice job Mike
