I like it! Never seen anything like that one, but have seen some with whitish centers and they really show up looking at the tank from across a room.

Wow those are pretty sweet, but $175 is highway robbery imo!

Seen it, could buy it, but will gladly pass for many other nicer polyps much cheaper. Here's what I recently sent as a response to another friend who asked my opinion:
I actually was wondering myself why *** and his "pals" were touting this polyp. I looked at the thread where someone "just happened" to post looking for it, and *** "just happened" to have one up for auction (sorry about the sarcasm, I just find this to be a common theme and suspect marketing strategy), and I was like, "why is this even a big deal?" Then I went and checked out the ebay auction and I couldn't decide whether to laugh or caugh and spit up my drink on the screen. I mean, geez, everybody nowadays seems to think every time they find a polyp that isn't on coralpedia they have the new $200+ polyp. That is one of the least worthy polyps I've seen in a while. It's not ugly, but it's not that great either. Looks like a faded/morphed whammin' watermelon or something. I'd sooner pay the money for a Red Hornet, if I wasn't being given a few polyps for nothing. I'd rather pay $80 for a Pink Elephant Paly. ;p
I didn't want to post anything in reponse, because, to be honest, I'm getting tired of ranting and it never seems to end. I'll just go in my fishroom and stare and my collection.

I also noticed he's auctioned it twice with a min. bid of $175 and has received no bids last I checked. I watched the first auction go with little interest, despite their attempts to drive people to it on the other forums. I don't see this zoa taking off.

Eh, sometimes it takes a while for a morph to catch on. You just have to keep beating the horse. The Red Hornet, and even Purple Hornet for that matter, didn't take off instantly. There was some negative feedback for the Red initially too, but they just kept pushing it and posting it up and doing their darndest to create hype until they found that sucker or two that would pay an insane amount of money and that started the trend. Once some fool pays upwards of $200 for a polyp, then the bar is set for some dumb reason and every other fool feels the need to have one to join the club, or, in many cases, to take advantage of the resale "value".
I understand that exceptional specimens, as living art, justify a greater cost to acquire, and I play along all the time, but this benchmark of putting every new polyp with good reception in the $200+/polyp range has been a leap into stupidity, IMO. Additionally, I don't think polyps like Fizzy Lizzy even qualify either way, and are being sold on some bunk about being "super rare!", which is retarded. I don't care if it is rare, if it's not additionally and equally stunning, it's just not worth the cost.
*Done ranting, kinda.
