Since I have foam on my mind, I can get wholesale prices on the closed cell minimal expansion cans of foam and was wondering how much interest there would be? I am looking into getting the black stuff also. price for the white/yellow stuff is about 8-9.00 a can. This is the exact same brand(handi-foam) that the black pond foam is.

Wholesale pricing is a good deal if you plan to do a large tank or use a lot.

I used almost 2 cans($12 at Home Depot) for my 37's background.

MNGold15 also has offered to buy the stuff at his cost so you guys together have the north and south metro covered.

did you use the great stuff foam? if so the stuff i get is a bigger can and goes about 2-2 1/2 times as far. If I buy a case at a time i get a free reusable gun with it. im more interested in finding out about the black stuff though.

I used the black pond foam. It expands much less than the great stuff and it's black. :)
It also floats, but it will soak up some water after a few days and can be weighted down with rock.

I got my black handi foam from the Drs. for $7.99 a can.
