Last night, when I went to feed I noticed that my Dot-dash Butterfly had been beaten up pretty good. In fact it was close to death. Tail was almost gone, chunks missing out of side and top fins. The only other fish in the tank is a flame angel, false perc clown, and a zebra dwarf lion. My guess is the flame, but I didn't see anything happen.

after a couple months of living in peace, what triggers a fish to beat the crap out of another?? My flame angel has never been very aggressive with any other fish

I guess I kinda assumed that it was the flame angel. But I guess it could have been the clown

my clownfish got along fine with my solar wrasse for many months, and even went after my other fish yet allowed the solar wrasse to enter her area.

then one week she decided it was enough and she beat the crap outa the solar wrasse, and the solar wrasse would refuse to come out of hiding. so i took the clownfish out, let the wrasse heal then sold them..

i dont know what triggered my fish to change, but it definitely went from good to ugly over night...
