saw a show with discus

i know this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with marine fish breeding... but i just watched a show with some discus and showed them breeding... makes me want to go pick up a 30 gallon and some stendkers!!! that is what got me into fish keeping years ago. i used to have three breeding pairs and would get fry every week for months on end.

I WAS THERE ON FRIDAY! lol, i thought friday was the show too, which means i made that trip for nothing. i DID come to SWE that friday though.

there was s how on HDtheatre called AMAZON. there was a 3 minute section on discus and it showed the brood, the wigglers, the fry eating off the parents and then i called my GF to ask for a 30 Gallon as a gift...

i used to be pretty prominent on www.dph.nl a holland based discus site with tons of great knowledge. i bred them for two years or so, two pairs. and there were fry every week. i almost found myself getting sick of it but they are too damn cool.

Hey, all I can say is that there's room for both FW and SW in my fishroom. Mostly SW, but I already have plans to keep a couple FW tanks ;)

oh i hear ya! my room has been "zoned" for fresh or salt. on the left of my computer, two freshwater tanks. to the right, all saltwater!
