That zoa is a very rare colony of LE Egg Yolk Zoas Zoanthus miscellaneous. I wouldn't sell them for less than $67 per polyp.

More seriously, those zoas are probably one of the most common "fancy" zoas that come in through the wholesalers. I don't think they carry a name. I think I have a whole rock of them at the store right now. Pretty much any time I order zoas, they send me a few dead acro branches with these covering them. Not a bad little zoa though.

Yeah, pretty much. You can check coralpedia.com and look at the zoa pictures there to see if you find a match for a name, but either way, I see those all the time. If they're not on coralpedia it's not because they've never been seen before, but because no one has bothered naming them "officially" yet. More than half the time you ask for fancy colored zoas from the wholesaler you get a rock of those, or some of them mixed in with random others.
