all righty ray, heres the deal, im looking at a few different led options...
the reef brites are one option i am considering.. how many 48" strips would i need over a 60x18x26. lps and zoa dominated tank... sps will be placed on the top half of the tank.....
i would do the vast majority in the 460mn for the bulbs... sacrificing alot of growth but the colors maybe just too good to pass up....

I would run 2 MH's if it was me. I have not seen much for par readings or output on the reef brites.... MH's or T5's would be much better options that are proven. Just my thought.

Do 2 250W DE MH and supplement w/ 2 reefbrites. 26" is a deep tank.

i have always had mh on every tank i have owned, im not gunna lie here im am sold on leds and they will be the only lights on this tank...the question now becomes which led, i have numerous emails concerning different factors to about 6 different led companies, i have accumilated 200lbs of ls and will be running a 5-6 inch dsb on this tank. so the light will only have to penetrate 20". leds will be fine getting down 20".. i just need to be sold on which company to purchase the leds from..

Too each their own, lets leave it at that. :beerchug: Will talk more Clint on Saturday when you get your frags ;)
Did you try Aqua Illumination LED fixtures? They are amazing:beerchug:.
I've replaced my 250w MH fixture to AI fixtures. I can see my corals grow quite a bit under these. And did I mention I only use 60% of its full power? I tried 70% and it's kind of bleach out my SPSs a little bit. It's a very strong light. If I buy Reefbrite, I will buy the blue one 'cause I saw it at my friend house as a supplemental light. I'm amazed how the color of his corals pop under these light.
