Krusty the Clownfish has a spot on his nose. It's been here for three or four days now and is starting to look a little better I think. Any thoughts on what it is and is it OK to just wait it out?

Almost looks like he gouged it on something sharp and it's healing up.

Mark from melevs reef had that on one of his clownfish. He was told to cut it off with a tweezers and put a dab of iodine on it. He did and it worked out fine. He talks about it on one of his reefcast episodes. I cant remember what it is called. He said it got so big the fish had trouble eating

Lympho - I would leave it alone, you risk secondary infection if you cut it off.

looks like a fighting injury. is there another clown it might have been squaring off with. Looks like a jaw-to-jaw injury.

i second this!
nothing you can do really, manual removal of problem spots is best you can do. its a viral infection and you need to wait for the virus to burn itself out or go dormant.

Thanks everyone... I really didn't wanna try home surgery on the little guy. He hasn't lost his appetite at all and is very active. He is also the only fish in the tank but there is lots of live rock so he could have gouged it on something. I'll just let it run it's course.
