i have a rbta. It wouldnt open for a few days now its opening and its color is almost clear/white. I was nice color before but now its very dull any ideas. Is it goint to be ok or is it dying slowly

I dont know. I can house it for a while if you are worried, try to nurse it back to health for you.

usually they lose color as they lose their zooxanthellae, meaning it sounds like its dying. Is it moving around your tank? Have you been feeding it, what kind of lights do you have it under?

Like es mentioned, what's it's diet been like? Feeding schedule? What is your lighting? How old are your bulbs? Water Params?

Was it one of those died RBTA's? I've heard a LOT of them come in died w/ coloring.

Who woud buy a dead RBTA ? Hopefully you can at least tell if it's alive or not.

or they look dyed because they lose their zooxanthellae which makes their bodies more transparent and can enhance the colors.
