I am going to pick up my tank 1/2" Starphire 58Lx30Hx18D
What would be the weight, how many people will I need to pick it up.

I found some online calculator for silica glass that comes out to 220lbs. I imagine it will be somewhere close to that.

When the front pane on my starphire tank cracked, I went to Brin NW glass in mpls. for a replacement. Cost about $290 for 1/2" 24x72.
Regarding moving your tank, It'd be nice to have four people, because setting it on the stand can be tricky. Dual suction cup handles can really help. I got 6 of them on ebay for like $50, shipped.

My tank is 60 x 36 x 24 starphire on 3 sides and top and weighed about 400lbs. The shipping weight was 660lbs.

you should just need like 2 peoplemayby three for like opening doors , moving ovjects, ect.

I have a feeling this could be close to 300#.
