I am getting a system for the tank.
He has a MRC skimmer MR2.
Is it worth getting, whats a fair price to offer?
it is older about 4 years old. Has IWAKI pump.

as far as becketts go, sure they are good. I like needle wheels so I would never buy one, but lots of people swear by becketts :)

The skimmer is a MRC2 with the quick disconnect, has Iwaki pump, collection cup with carbon filter, Sump that was made for use with skimmer 30Lx16Tx14D.
Needs cleaning.

Yes and yes.... Just make certain you use a good pressure rated pump. Like the equivalent of at least a BL40 or a BL55. Can you say foam cannon?!?
