palys and zoas together

I have two rocks in which palys and zoas are growing together, with of course, the palys growing higher. They seem to be doing just fine but I can't really see the zoas. Anyone got any tricks to separating them easily? I like them both, I would just like to be able to see each one on its own ;)

These zoas are the best colors I have atm and I would love to be able to see them better / possibly frag them and spread them out.

Just take the rock and bust it up and seperate.... I just had to do that as well...

Or use a syyng of kalk paste and krrp kalking the palys as they overgrow the zoas

The cell phone keep board strikes again ;) kalk um or frag um off the rock. Might be easiest to get most the zoos if you can. The pallies will take over at some point.

What is my best way of doing this? Just take a hammer and a chisel and go to town?

If you have a dremmel it works best to cut and give the rock a breaking point... Otherwise yes a hammer and chisel and take out a bunch of agression

Yea, I have been reading up on fragging zoas and this seems to come up a lot. I would hate to get blinded by some zoa juice. :biggrin:
