Here is my new landscape. What do you guys think of my new landscape? (I used rods) nothing is touching the glass. I am planning to add the sand soon.

and thank you for all of the good ideas.

Yes, much better. You can hide the rods a bit with epoxy if you want. Either get some sand on the expoxy and wrap it around the rod, or just wrap the epozy around the rod and it should cover with coraline over time. At the least it will be less noticeable than the red rod.

Also, I'd point that powerhead towards the water surface. Not only are powerheads intended to move water, but to actually disturb the water at the surface and increase your oxygen levels in the water.

Huge improvement :beerchug:

I like how high the rock goes, gives a lot of room for corals near the surface if you are going for light demanding corals. I agree with pramberg, surface agitation is very important no matter what type of tank it is.

What are your plans with this tank now?

You could hide the rods now with epoxy, but give it 6 months and it'll be covered regardless.

Thank you everybody for your nice comments. I am going to get epoxy soon. And my plans for my tank are, after about 3 weeks ( the tank has so far cycled for a week) is to get a hardy common clown fish. heres my stocking list

2 common clownfish, 3 blue green chromis 1 royal gramma, 1 bicolor blenny, 1 flasher wrasse and last a flame angelfish (or) if cleaning my cainster filter twice a week keeps the nitrates down then I might get some hardy soft coral.

You can, but some people may not agree with it(the tang police). If you get a small one you should be fine IMO. I have a small one and a kole tang in my 75, both are doing great.

I agree that you can. One tang only should be fine.

Yes. Just get a smaller yellow tang.
