Alrighty....

So I don't own, nor have ever owned any Tunze PH's. Everyone and their brother says they kick *** and whatnot. Given how powerful they are....wouldn't one run the risk of getting small creatures sucked up against the intake if you were to bury one in your LR using that deco rock thingy? I like the idea, but wouldn't it be kinda risky? :poke:

I've run them and I don't think I ever had a fish get stuck in one of them. That was after approx 2 years of use...

The "intakes" are so big it is rather diffused. That beign said, our rabbit fish often gets caught on there with 100% power on. It is certianly less risky than a regular powerhead however.

So then if you had one running at 100% in and among your rocks, the potential could be there for cleaner shrimp and crabs to get sucked in?
