I'm looking for the specific name of this Acro. Any suggestions?

my guess would be: Acropora nobilis. At least that is what they are common sold as but could be misidentification.

Try to get a close-up shot of a few branches. I'd say not A. nobilis since it is so filled in. Stags usually have fewer branches and are pretty spread out.

I agree with Boker, not nobilis. Nobilis is arborescent in growth form, this is more corymbose. Glen, could you get a close up with the axial and radial polyps?

Believe it or not this is the same coral. I'm still figuring out this camera. But any guesses as to what specific acro this is?

Looking around it isn't Acropora nobilis, any other ideas?

If the branches are fairly thin it might be an A. selago well maybe but selago's are normally tri-colors. It's very similiar in form to A. tenuis but you don't see green ones very often.

When a coral is discribed as "Acropora sp." what does the "sp." stand for?
