Congratulations are in order for Angie! :beerchug: Her ocellaris clowns were spawning in her reef tank while I was there. She's got pics and all of the honeymoon day/night:gay1:. I think she should apply to MBI and get our club some more points. What do you think?

She said she is prepared to deal with that, so we will see. Right now she refers to them as future reef plankton dudes.

Britt and I have been building a setup here to raise our clown eggs, we are only a few parts away and possible a few weeks away from catching our first fry!!

This was a big reason for changing up our tank, we will be spending a lot of time with this endeaver and we fear it will work its way into our DT time so we needed to ease up the maintenance load.

Pretty awesome deal watching them clean the nest, and protect their babies, nature at its best!

Oh no, no, no

Reeflover was here to pick up the clowns from my 26 bow - we were talking and he was getting that pair for breeding. He remakred on the size and then I said, well ya gotta check out the clowns in the 40 if you wanna see good size...(my female is HUGE!).

So we headed upstairs and while we were chatting I was like - WTH are they doing? My male NEVER swims upside down. Then the 4 of us realized what was going on and I went running for the camera.

The clowns that spawned are the very first saltwater fish I ever had. I picked them up from Sneeze as juvi's just before he enlisted.

This has been really cool to see. I never expected it, was not trying to set up for a spawn....

Really awesome

Side note - if anyone is interested in trying to harvest this spawn - your more than welcome to - just let me know

Boy, I'd love to Angie. But I don't have any rot cultures going right now. Let me see if I can get some going in time. In the mean time, if any one else is already set up.....please go for it.
