any idea when you guys are going to get these in?

http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/brs-top-off-doser-50-ml-per-minute.html

I know a few of us are waiting on these to get builds finished. Seems like they have been out of stock for a long time....;)

Troy, best to send to the customer service email on the site. They don't check here that often. Brandon or other staff usually responds same day.

What do you want 50ml per min that the others wont suffice for?

Top off...possibly Kalkwasser. The regular dosers are 1.1ml a min.

Are you guys sure about the flow rate?

I have the Profilux doser which does 60ml/minute.
The Bubble Magus is just the cheaper version and does the same.
I think the info on the BRS is wrong regarding the flow. I think they are trying to say the "minimum" dosage is 1.1ml/minute

Depending on which brs doser you are using they are(mine anyway) pretty close to 1.1 ml per minute.

Was talking about the Bubble Magus doser.
Sorry about that. Should have been more precise

Did you start carrying the 50ml/min version? Last time I was in you had the 1.1ml/min version and said you didn't carry the other. Troy and I are both looking for the same thing so if you have these please let us know.

Thanks,
Casey

I've had mine since Thanksgiving time. Because of the RPM the 50mil is not near as quiet as the 1.1mil. I still like it and would recommend but don't expect it to be silent. How you mount it and what surface likely has a lot to do with it as well. I have rubber between the wall and the mount and is still audible. Mine runs 1 minute on 5 minutes off as daily topoff w/kalkwasser controlled by a AC3.

I will be sure to rubber mount it then. Thanks for the tip. I plan to run mine with a DA double float switch hooked up to my RKL via SL1. I have a large enough reservoir where the switches will be mounted so it will not be turning off and on so much.

You've been around long enough to know ( but I'll reiterate ), it's a fine plan providing that the float switches are there for the exception/redundancy and not relied upon solely. Time should be the primary and dialed in very close to your evaporation rate. Switches there just to fine tune. If they were to fail on it would still be limited by time to a max amount per day. Likely not near as important for just ro/di as it is for kalkwasser users or other additives in your topoff water.

Ah, I missed that. We just have the 1.1ml/min.
