Looks great David.
I grew up with tanks in my bedroom. They make for nice nightlights.

David,
That looks awesome. I love the stand you have built for it. Perfect for a kids room.

What a great tank! We started with a tank built into my kids bathroom wall. It was the greatest nightlight. Whenever I went upstairs during the night my youngest would be sitting on the toilet watching the fishies. Maybe I will put it back up there

I wanted to build a custom stand/canopy for it, but I got vetoed by Christy when she saw this little setup.
It's actually just a petco stand/canopy. The black areas of it are chalkboards. They also have a style very similar that looks like a doll house that we will be using in Annies room when she is a little older with some guppies in it...... The top isn't as easy to access on the doll house one but is on BJs.
Hint Hint for Winger.......
I believe they go for $149 for stand/canopy.

Sorry about that Jerry. Normally the dog is in the kennel when guests come by......when need to work on that during the summer.

with fish stuff, I'm pretty much king of the castle this being the only exception I can thing of off hand.
However, in all other aspects of life I get vetoed probably more times than not......

Cool tank David! glad it works out so well for ya. I tried having one in my boys bedroom that didn't turn out so well. As for the illusion of control, my tank is just one more thing for her to supervise under her house.

Wow, I'm going to have to show the wife this one...I'm sure I could talk her into it for Ben's room. Maybe when he's a little older and will do some maintenance. :)

:ac11: Those green and pink zoas are sweet! Any chance they will have a frag coming out of them any time soon?

They are really green / orange not pink. Your monitor plus the camera is playing a trick on the colors some. They are one of the older club corals around. Just about everyone around 1999 had gottem some of those from Tim Skarda ( District Attorney who hasn't been active for some years because just too busy ).

I had hundreds upon hundreds of them but sold to Fritz about a year ago. I only have that one little patch.

We sold most of them to the club, so there should be a ton out there.

Ya, I saw some zoo's in that tank when I was over and they really sparked my interest. Very nice.
