What do you feed your soft corals. At this point I havn't been feeding anything. The corals look really healthy but I'm not seeing very much growth. Any recomendations??

Some people feed zonthids but I have never attempted to feed soft leathers. Just stir up detritus or blow detritus off the rocks.

I've been using some reef chili. I don't know how to tell if the corals are eating it or not. It doesn't seem to do much.

I have fed my LPS and rics mysis and small pieces of krill which they appear to like. On occasion I see a zoa catch something and eat it.

Ive been using marine snow for my softies and sps. It seems to work great, and it was fun to see my Carnations polyps go crazy for it.

Just started using marine snow. I've also used puree'd silversides in a syringe to spot feed my trumpets, blastos, favia, palys and acans.

growth may be inhibited by several factors... feeding generally might be lower in the list of things that are slowing you down. In fact, overfeeding would lead to nutrient problems, which would certainly very easily hinder growth, though likely less of a factor with softies. Check to make sure your pH, alk, Ca, Mg, nitrogenous wastes, stability are all up to par. That being said, I love to mush up mysis and feed my trumpets.

actually I've noticed fair amounts of growth with softies in nominal conditions, so that might be less of a deal... You might be getting some warfare between them as they get used to each other, try carbon/high w/c and maybe as they get used to each other the growth will accelerate.
