Not sure if it will happen tomorrow, i.e. in my lifetime... however first hand info from relatives who have lived on the coast and others whose livelihood depends on the ocean... its not very encouraging. there's been a huge impact on the environment in general... not necessarily because of over-fishing as mentioned in the article... more because of what is spewed/dumped in the oceans (land run off and activities at high seas) and also over land. More of anything causes more of something someplace else... has the ring of balance in nature :micro:

life goes on. If there is an event that causes mass death in the ocean, then things will still survive and repopulate because there will be an abundance of nutrients. But things will not get that bad because people are already working to prevent it. That article was more for shock and awe then predicting the future.
