We hit 720 Marine Breeder initiative (http://www.mbisite.org/) points this week folks! That puts us in 5th place overall. That's 290 points behind Lake Superior Marine Aquarium Club. Keep up the good work!

To be honest I never went deeply into the MBI and what it is all about so I am a little lost and probably not only me.
I can find some good info their site what it is all about

Go to the following link: http://www.mbisite.org/Sites.aspx and locate TCMAS in the table. Then under the users column click on the number of users (currently 9) you can see who is currently registered and their MBI stats.

We do not have meetings as of now.

I started this effort here at TCMAS and promote it when I can. So I guess you could call me the lead. I do try to keep people informed. This thread is a good example of that. And I'm always glad to help someone who wants to know more about this aspect of the club.

I got my Darwin spawn points today! I'm gonna catch you Nick...in 260 more points....

But I have two class D species (Flame Angels and green mandarins) that I believe do indeed spawn, I just have not put in the effort to catch them in the act. Each would net 135 points, putting me just ahead of Nick, so watch out man!

Tonight should be the Darwin hatch, another 35 points. It is on!

Today I submitted the Darwin hatch from last night and a food culture continuation report (I've been culturing the same rotifers for 3 years today!). I wish I'd documented the Mysid culture as a continuation, but they didn't have that category when I established my food cultures.

Looks like we've got a healthy 120 pt lead on Lake Superior, and unless Matt can breed something exotic between now and the end of the year, looks like we are going to leave them out in the cold :beerchug:.

I just submitted my Berghia spawn, and looking for hatch points by Tuesday. Hoping to go to 60 days with them!!!!

I've got Berghia spawn and s.splendidus (mandarins) spawn to file. I'm making progress on Darwin Ocellaris - just the 60 DPS report to go!

I think I am about to get the "Journeyman Breeder" award as soon as my Orange ocellaris hatch gets approved.

Chad ought to have way more points than me. I don't think he's filed all his reports.

2011 has been a pretty good year for our MBI team! I made my goal of making it to "Established Breeder" level.
