well i got my controler on mon. and i was one of the lucky ones to get the new one in the first shipment. will post pics. this weekend. from what i have read is they just changed the cover and the back light.

yes they are selling the new unit, but I would order right away because the price is going up very soon. I know this because I spoke with th owner earlier this week

Really, I've not heard that from them... interesting... When you think about it, they've not added any new functionality, but changed the package a little. I just got a new AC3 in yesterday... looks nice though...
