Just thought I'd share these pics, as I've really come to enjoy this coral. I found this as literally a couple polyps with a nub on a rock a couple years ago and have hung on to it and watched it grow out into a beautiful (I think) colony. I don't do the sticks very much, but I've made room for this one.

Under the Actinics. The way the camera picked up the colors was just cool. Made the name seem fitting.

It's either an acropora echinata or an acropora loripes, and I want in line for a frag.

I'm totally requiring a minimum safe viewing distance from my tanks when you're over. :tongue:

Well, it seems I'm not the only one that likes it. I'll probably have to plan to make some frags up to bring with to the swap or something. After a couple years of growing out, it's probably due for a pruning now.
