I'm thinking I may want another shrimp. Something that is bold and will stay out where it can be seen.

The tank is a BC29. In there now is a very small pistol shrimp, a medium sized peppermint shrimp and possibly a smaller peppermint (was really tiny when it came in and I haven't seen it since).

I'm thinking a skunk cleaner, a blood shrimp, or maybe a couple sexy shrimp.

Would it work out or am I best not adding those? Which do you recommend?

Typically the blood red cleaner shrimp stays pretty much out of site until lights out. so does a skunk cleaner but uaually I see mine hanging out upside down on a overhang. I have heard that the blood red can be aggressive towars other shrimp but have not seen this first hand. I think a skunk cleaner would be a great addition to your tank, you can always see where they are do to their long antennae. They are also great at cleaning parasites off fish including ICH.

I think your best bet would be a cleaner.

This is a little tank with small fish. I assumed that one would be out.

I say go with a Lysmata Amboinensis.

with the skunk cleaners, is there any difference other than the tail spots/stripe between the caribean and pacific species?

The bright side to two of any shrimp in the same species is
1) they 'hang' out together
2) fresh/free fish/coral food when they get prego
