brittle starfish community spawn

Changed water today and as soon as I was done I saw a huge cloud of white ooze shoot out of the base of my rocks. 30 minutes later every brittle starfish in my tank crawled out of the rocks and did the same thing. Usually they all just hide in cracks and crevices, but every coral and rock face is covered with them and they are discharging in the water column.

I have atleast 500~1000 snails and I believe upto 300 ~ 400 baby brittel star fish in my gsp.

I saw the first cloud and wondered because I don't have any snails.... then everyone of them came out and discharged into the water column. I was too busy wondering what the heck it was before I thought to take the camera out, now they are back to hiding. Qierdest this so far.
