I have a couple of sps frags that have white lines on them. What it looks like is some kind of critter was crawling on them and turned the trail white. Any ideas as to what it is? I have examined them very closely even with a magnifying glass and cant see anything on them. I have dipped them twice now already, about a week apart. first dip i used Sea Chem Reef Dip, and the second time I used fluke tabs per Marys method. So far the only thing I have seen this on is both of my Larry jackson frags. Any ideas what it could be and what to do about it?

aefw love tricolors and are easily identified on Tricolor type acros. However, it doesn't sound like aefw to me. Normally with them you can see lots of little bite marks, especially with a mag. glass.

where on the frag are the white lines located? ie tip, middle, bottom, base, between branches, outside of branches, etc etc

Both these frags came from the same colony, one of the two you got Mary just so you know where they came from.

While I can't say exactly what since I'm not seeing first hand but I highly suspect a predator of some sorts.
